Carstens will, at its option, repair or replace any Carstens product that is: a) returned prepaid to its factory; b) deemed defective by Carstens. This warranty does not apply to gel-coat finishes, or to any product that is damage due to alteration, misuse or neglect. CARSTENS E-COMMERCE RETURN POLICY At Carstens, we want to make sure you are satisfied in every way. If you are not completely satisfied with a Carstens product, please return it within 30 days of the ship date found on the packing list for a full refund. All returns must have a valid Return Authorization (RA) number issued by Carstens. To obtain a RA number, give us the details of your return by calling (320) 256-3919. You will be given a RA number, which must appear on the label of the box you ship back. The item must be shipped back to us within 30 days of the date on the packing list. (Carstens will not reimburse you for any shipping charges.). For MasterCard and VISA orders, a credit or refund will be given on the bank credit card account used to place the order. Merchandise returned without an RA number or not returned within 30 days of the ship date will not be credited or refunded. For a full credit or refund, an item must be returned in new condition with all accessories, packing materials, warranty information, registration cards, manuals and other inserts included. If unauthorized items are returned to us, no credit or refund will be given. Only products purchased directly from the Carstens e-commerce store will be authorized for return. TRANSIT DAMAGE Please carefully inspect all deliveries in the presence of the carrier before accepting delivery. If you receive a shipment that has visible damage: Please decline the shipment, and have the driver code the particular carton(s) as "damaged" on the paperwork or electronic clipboard that you sign. In the case of truck shipments, sign the freight bill as "damaged." Contact Carstens immediately to report the damage by calling (320) 256-3919. Carstens will reship the product upon return receipt of the damaged shipment, and initiate the claim process the carrier.
